I intend to overclock my i7 6700k. 24/7 (since my computer always powers on). Which robust motherboard would suit my i7 6700k best! ASRock z170 K6 or ASUS z170 A? Or recommend any other options? My budget is up to $175.

There is a clear need for additional suggestions. It would be helpful to provide further clarification so we can address it effectively.

Spec-wise K6 performs slightly better, though I favor ASUS QC.

Benj__ is thinking about upgrading his i7 6700k. He wants advice on the best heavy-duty motherboard for his system. He’s considering ASRock z170 K6 or ASUS z170 A, and is open to suggestions. His overall budget is around $175. He usually prefers ASRock if it fits his setup, but both options are good.

It also appears the K6+ model includes 12 power phases. Another option worth considering is the Extreme. A link to a relevant article is provided. Additionally, it seems ASUS offers only 8? A link to that information is included.
