Hello, I see you're dealing with a persistent issue with your two x99 mobos. After initial setup, you encounter a bottleneck at around 10MB/s during network file transfers. It seems the problem might be related to driver conflicts rather than hardware or configuration. You've tried disabling and re-enabling the adapter in Windows, which resolved the speed issue temporarily. However, the speed drops again after rebooting, especially when copying data between devices. Running an Ubuntu Live USB has restored full speed instantly. Since you've tested various drivers since 2016, it appears the core issue lies with the driver itself. Could you share more details about the exact driver versions you've used and any error messages you receive? This might help pinpoint the solution.

It seems you're expressing a perspective on the worth of your time compared to something like a TPLINK gigabit card. Let me know how I can help clarify or expand on that idea.

Absolutely, though since I intend to switch to a 10GbE connection, I’m okay with resetting the adapter now—it’s just an annoyance for me.
