Hi there, currently working on constructing three identical setups. Two are functioning properly. The Win 10 Pro Workstation is operational, but both encounter the same problem: the D1 RAM slot isn’t recognized in BIOS or Windows. One system briefly detected it before rebooting and it’s gone since then.

System details:
- AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX
- ASRock WRX80 Creator
- 8x Samsung 32GB 3200MHz ECC Module
- 2x Samsung 870 Evo 2.5” 500GB RAID for Boot
- 1x Samsung 980 Pro M.2 2TB Scratch
- 1x NVidia GeForce RTX 3090

I’ve attempted several fixes: BIOS update, firmware updates, re-seating RAM, moving modules to test, and inspecting the CPU socket. No damage was found on pins. Some sources suggest a possible compatibility issue between Threadripper and both ASRock WRX80 Creator and Asus WRX80E boards. An interesting note is that Windows shows 224GB installed while Committed Memory lists 256GB. I’m curious if others have faced similar issues and know of solutions or confirm it’s an ongoing problem. I’m not expecting too many failures, but two bad boards or CPUs would be unexpected. Any guidance or support would be greatly appreciated!

All three systems are now complete, yet each still displays a missing module on D1. The third unit uses a CPU from another batch, which gives me confidence it isn’t the issue with the CPU itself. I’ve repositioned every CPU and checked the socket for any abnormal pins, but everything looks correct.
