I wouldn't suggest boosting the clock speed of a 3900X since you're just starting out. Pushing it might cause more harm than benefit if you look online and see others using higher voltages without realizing the risks. Maintain a stable temperature with proper cooling and let the processor handle things naturally. Once your system ages or you upgrade to a better model, you might consider trying a boost later. There are some videos showing Buildzoid discussing why the 3rd Gen Ryzen doesn't really support overclocking despite motherboard capabilities.
