You're considering moving 40 gigabytes or more quickly via USB, ideally over USB 4 for maximum speed. In reality, it's unlikely you need that much data right now—USB 4 isn't essential for most users, just like giving someone a high-performance car for short trips is unnecessary.

The "usb 4 support" simply means it has native USB 4 functionality, which doesn't improve performance. The 8000 model isn't better than the 7000 series because they aren't just dedicated CPUs—they're integrated APUs.

The reasoning behind slower USB speeds for faster CPUs seems unclear—why prioritize lower speeds for newer models that perform better elsewhere? The 7600(X) should handle USB 3.0+ just like other modern processors. USB 3.0+ ports are typically found on older hardware, so why would the latest generation be slower?
