ASrock B660M device can't detect exfat flash drives using Windows 10 or 11 ISO files.
I completed my initial PC setup but am facing issues with uploading a flash drive to Windows. I mostly use Apple products and built my first machine. A video suggested downloading the Windows 10 or 11 ISO on a MacBook and then connecting it to your PC to load Windows. After turning it on, I entered BIOS, adjusted RAM settings for full capacity, and changed fan speeds based on CPU temperature. I saved the changes and shut down the PC. Now, when I try to load the ISO with a USB drive, it goes straight to BIOS instead of Windows. I’ve tested all USB ports and even used a keyboard and mouse, which worked fine. I’m unsure if I’m doing something wrong. Are there alternative methods I should try? I’m considering getting help from someone who owns a PC or buying Windows directly.
Could use NTFS format, possibly FAT32 still functions, but haven't managed to get it right. Exfat won't help either.
Maybe it was a few years back when you thought you could, but not anymore, I think.
