I've tested various voltages and speeds but no improvement. Patriot support suggested it might be a known issue.

I might consider a more recent version, but if this is the sole option that fits the 5600x requirement, I have no further ideas.

B550 and 5600x face significant issues currently. Even with various BIOS versions, I encounter FPS drops after extended play sessions on many JDEC XMP settings, and Windows setups on ROG Strix B550. Additionally, these devices appear to ignore reporting these problems.

Updated, I returned the Patriot Viper Steel Series DDR4 (2 x 16 GB) 3600 MHz (18-22-22-42). I also purchased a Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (2 x 16 GB) 3600 MHz (18-22-22-42), and it functioned perfectly at that speed right away.
