You're experiencing an issue where the BIOS doesn't recognize the TPM even after enabling AMD FTDM and Secure Boot. The BIOS is still reporting "TPM not found." This can happen if the TPM hardware isn't properly installed or configured. Checking your motherboard documentation for TPM installation steps might help. A BIOS update could potentially resolve compatibility issues, but verify that the update matches your hardware version. If problems persist, contact AsRock support for further assistance.

You need to purchase your own TPM. It includes a section for adding one, though it isn’t included by default.

This refers to Ryzens' implementation of a fast transfer file mode (fTPM). It's unclear if it will function as expected, but the question is seeking clarification on its viability.

I reviewed some articles and watched several videos. If you check the BIOS, go to Advanced, then Configure, and enable AMD CPU FTCM, it should work for TPM. Running the command TPM.msc will show TPM 2.0 is enabled. However, in my setup it doesn’t function properly. I’m using an ASRock B550m Pro4 motherboard, but someone used an ASRock B450m and it worked perfectly. What’s different?

This video features someone using an ASRock B450M Pro4. The question is whether this motherboard includes a TPM chip.

I include an image, so do you require purchasing a TPM chip?

I noticed the title suggests a standalone TPM setup rather than an integrated version. Try clearing CMOS again and attempt the process, as configurations can sometimes fail to apply despite indications otherwise.

Yes, you can use the B550m Pro4 with a Ryzen 5 3600 without a BIOS update. Just make sure your motherboard supports the newer chipset and that the hardware matches. No update needed unless your system is very old or has compatibility issues.

B550 platforms accommodate Ryzen 3600 starting from version b450, typically requiring a BIOS update when an older processor is present.
