It uses bare MOSFETs and is generally affordable. I wouldn't rely on it fully, but it works for Intel builds. Skip locked chips and B/H series boards if possible. Ryzen is a better fit if you're on a tight budget. What's your budget? What tasks will it handle?

It's a secured processor. It should work fine. The K and Z sections are excessive. I wouldn't install Intel there anymore. Ryzen

I’ve already secured the i5, so I’m not open to switching. The price of 3600 feels out of reach for my budget—it’s just a bit over $30 more.

The power supply on that board seems very weak, restricting you to only 2666MHz RAM. Even though it's a locked 6-core chip, it doesn't perform well overall.
