I attempted to enable DOCP in the BIOS but it wasn’t visible. I’ve checked all the usual steps—BIOS update, correct RAM placement, etc.—and still can’t find a solution. Could there be an issue with the system settings or hardware configuration? Let me know if you'd like help troubleshooting further.

It reminds me a bit of my previous RAM clock mishaps just a day ago—similar CPU, same chipset, almost identical BIOS. Look under "DRAM Information" to check if XMP profiles are available or only JEDEC ones. What’s the exact RAM part number? Just a heads up, ASRock seems to cap 2666 MHz for Summit Ridge (Zen 1/Ryzen 1000) with two DIMMs, even though DDR4 has advanced significantly over the past five years. I think those DIMMs likely don’t support XMP if they’re truly 2666, since that’s a JEDEC speed, which suggests the BIOS is functioning correctly.

With the sticks and an XMP profile, you’ll need to apply significant voltage to achieve the desired speed.

Reviewed the DRAM specifications and confirmed only JEDEC entries are present, with no XMP options. Given the modest performance of these modules, XMP compatibility seems unlikely.

This would be my thought. You're maximizing their use right away without needing OC.

Yep, and they'll probably be more stable for it. THIS. Most modern DIMMs have a base frequency of 2666 anyway. All three of my DDR4-3200 kits have run 2666 without DOCP. So in a nutshell, you don't NEED no STEENKEENG DOCP, MANG! Edited September 12, 2022 by An0maly_76 Revised, more info
