The message appears to be a warning about potential issues during a BIOS update. Since you've disabled "Security device support" and plan to wipe your Windows 11 installation, you can likely ignore the warning without risking corruption.

Without an operating system installed, that alert is likely safe to overlook. It mainly applies to users relying on BitLocker and TPM-based encryption. If the BIOS modifies the TPM, data can become unreadable. Always disable fTPM first, as advised in the warning.

We encounter similar issues but then receive bios updates via automatic Windows updates. Clown world.

Welcome to UEFI – a platform where the operating system and BIOS communicate directly. Picture regular users powering down their PCs while Windows Update sends an update to the BIOS –_-

The problem isn't about feasibility—it's about automaticity. That shouldn<|pad|> to be a concern.

The update is saved in the EFI partition of the SSD and can be made bootable. Upon the next restart, the boot manager will instead launch the BIOS update software, which will perform the flashing.
