Last night I upgraded my Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac with a Ryzen 5800X3D to BETA 7.2. I managed to get Corsair Vengeance 3600 (2x 8GB) memory working if I kept the clock at its default, non-XMP setting of 2133. (It would randomly shut down with every other memory configuration I tried). It was stable enough for Windows updates (about 2 hours) and some games, but after updating and logging in, it would power off randomly (no BSOD errors) within 1 to 5 minutes. Other RAM options I've used: HyperX Fury 2400 (2x 4GB) and GSkill ripsaw 3200 (2x 8GB) with auto and XMP settings. Unresolved concerns: My first assumption was that the issue might stem from BIOS instability, but it could also be related to power or heat problems. I recently installed a NZXT Kraken x53. At one point during setup, I forgot to reconnect the pump power after cable adjustments. After re-plugging in, I noticed hot water in one tube and cold water in another. I have an 800-watt power supply which should suffice with my RTX 980, but I’m open to further testing if stability improves. Any troubleshooting advice or areas to investigate would be appreciated.

It works because it should. Consider upgrading your motherboard to a B550 or X570. The B350 isn’t officially compatible with Zen 3, and its VRM isn’t built for the power these chips require.

My grasp of recent AMD chipset generations is that they mainly boost PCIe connectivity rather than offering real performance gains. Most Zen processors can run on any chipset as long as the BIOS recognizes their identifiers. In fact, some chips like the A300 don’t require a dedicated chipset since they include all needed components internally. Be sure to disable any PBO or auto-optimization settings.

BETA BIOS was detected; stability isn't assured. Make sure you've upgraded to version P7.00.

The board looks really good, but those VRMs will definitely overheat during a CPU run. I recommend upgrading the motherboard.
