Hey everyone, just wanted to share my thoughts on AMD's Ryzen 9 7945HX performance. Their passmark scores are really close to the desktop Ryzen 9 7950X, especially considering the lower power consumption on a mobile chip compared to its desktop counterpart. I've attached some screenshots for reference. It would be great if you could discuss this tech advancement during our next show or here—definitely worth checking out! Thanks all!

the power rating shown here comes from amd, not the actual wattage during testing. It wasn't just 55w either. Remember, passmark tests only evaluate the cpu. If you're planning to run gpu-intensive tasks like games, the 7945hx will need to share resources and may perform less well. That's why desktops generally offer better overall performance. These results are impressive, but it's important to check more comprehensive benchmarks with real usage data rather than just spec sheets from amd.
