As mobile devices grow stronger, PC gaming may still thrive with unique advantages.
Mobile games have traditionally been seen as "casual" due to their limited capabilities. However, with increasingly powerful devices, more challenging games can now run on these platforms. If mobile gaming maintains its lead (it currently dominates the video game market), what opportunities remain for PC?
For users seeking devices beyond gaming or those comfortable with traditional input methods like keyboard and mouse.
With mobile devices improving, it doesn't automatically mean PCs are behind. Each platform offers unique and valuable experiences. I wouldn't recommend playing a mobile game on a PC, nor would you expect to enjoy the latest PC titles on a mobile device except via streaming. What stands out is the pay2win approach in mobile gaming. This year's spending by title looks like this: 1) FFXIV (PC), 2) Azur Lane (mobile), 3) Girls Frontline (mobile), 4) Masters of Eternity (mobile).
Devices like phones can connect via USB, making it simple to link controllers or a mouse keyboard.
No one would likely play on such a device, especially not with the same performance as tablets.
However, I prefer not to play on a tiny display and avoid the trouble of transferring it to a TV.
