They did it, at least sometimes. Activating Cinder's transformation lets you catch a brief overlap of Gwyn's theme into the main track—a subtle nod for fans of Dark Souls.

I thought I caught the tune that played, wow, sneaky Soft. I’m not sure if they’ll deliver DLC as impressive as Bloodborne—honestly, my favorite boss theme, the build-up, and everything is the orphan of Kos. Of all the souls games I’ve played. If they pull it off again, twice, I’ll have to take on Miyazaki’s challenge myself.
