Artifacts appear within dark zones
I'm dealing with a frustrating problem where green artifacts appear in black areas on my monitor. After trying various fixes—switching cables, updating drivers, adjusting settings—I still have the issue. It seems to pop up and vanish unpredictably. My setup includes an Asus TUF RX 5700XT GPU, R5 3600XT CPU, 16 GB RAM, a 650 W PSU, and an AOC 22B2WG5 monitor. Notably, the artifacts disappeared when I changed monitors. Have others encountered this problem or know what could be causing it? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Choose a different GPU or monitor. If the issue continues with another device, it's likely the GPU is the problem.
Have you checked the monitor with another device? If green artifacts show up, it’s likely a monitor problem. I don’t have much details about the monitor, but using HDMI might help.
It seems the issue isn't visible on another screen, likely due to a monitor problem possibly linked to the power supply unit. Some users have resolved it by opening their monitor and checking connections or wires. The issue sometimes resolves on its own, suggesting a loose wire could be the cause. Any tips or experiences would be valuable.

I'm in agreement. This also doesn't resemble typical GPU artifacts since it only "follows" deep blacks.
