I just upgraded my PC, but I keep seeing low FPS in certain areas of Arma 3 when using very high settings. Anyone know what might be causing this? My current specs are: CPU i7-6800K, GPU Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080, 16GB DDR4 RAM on an SSD.

That's typical... Absolutely no graphics card could manage such a high-intensity battle in Kavala at 60 frames per second.

Absolutely, it's impressive to see performance even in a neglected area with just 45 frames per second.

What speed do you achieve when shooting away from cities?

My machine runs a 980ti and sometimes struggles to reach 40 with average difficulty options. In single-player it works fine. Likely the servers are tougher than what I'm used to.

It seems your web host is responsible for the issue. I’m experiencing the same issues when trying to run the MP server on my machine, but it works smoothly on Sp.

The GPU isn't the only factor—your CPU is likely causing the performance issues.

It's a tough-to-run game, honestly, I don't know how to put it nicely. It seems like it's not very optimized at all.

I get it. It's definitely better than the 20fps you were seeing with the FX-8350 and GTX 770, right? I'm checking out some post files so you can assign CPU cores manually—this should make testing easier.
