Hey! It seems like you're facing some consistent low FPS in Arma 3 regardless of your settings. The issue might be related to your hardware or configuration. You're using a mid-range rig with decent specs, but the performance doesn't match what others on similar systems achieve.

Try checking your graphics settings, ensure you're not using too many effects or high-resolution textures. Also, consider updating your drivers and checking for any known issues with your GPU model (like the GTX 780). If you're using a power supply that's not stable, it could affect performance.

Nvidia has reported performance concerns with certain models, so reaching out to their support might help. Let me know if you want more tips!

Check the performance on your setup and share your ArmA video configuration for better guidance.

you experience stable performance around 40 fps on ultra settings, but sudden drops to about 5 fps occur intermittently.

The game remains incomplete, they haven't managed to improve it much yet, but perhaps in a few months we'll notice higher FPS in that title...

Optimisation is poor, yet we remain hopeful it will improve.

Performance relies on your internet speed. Stratis works better than Altis.

Your results rely on the server quality and your internet speed. You probably don’t understand the reason. However, if you just want to play with friends, try setting up your own server.

ARMA 3 performance improvement! Previously struggled with low frame rates, now enjoy smooth gameplay in Wasteland with excellent FPS and long-distance rendering. This adjustment may not suit everyone, but it’s definitely worth trying:

1. Navigate to C:/Users/''yourusername''/My Documents/Arma 3 Alpha and open Arma3Alpha.cfg as a text file.
2. Locate GPU_MaxFramesAhead and set it to 1 instead of its current value.
3. Update GPU_DetectedFramesAhead to 1 instead of 0.
4. Start ArmA 3 and watch the frame rates improve significantly.

This tweak nearly doubled my framerate and made the game playable for me.
