I own an Oculus Rift and recently purchased Arizona Sunshine for 20€ (50% off) during a sale.
Performance remains satisfactory even at high settings, using an i7 [email protected] and GTX 1080.
I face significant problems launching the game. Since playing VR is rare for me, I haven’t used it since Oculus updated Home. Steam appears to have major issues with starting steamVR, which seems tied specifically to Arizona Sunshine not running smoothly or without errors.
The game occasionally crashes during level loading and fails to render properly, sometimes preventing it from appearing in the foreground.
There are some recent forum reports about strange crashes, but they weren’t enough to confirm the problem.
I’m now considering whether to switch to another title or continue trying. I’m still within the 14-day return period and have played about 90 minutes so far—should I request a refund or attempt a fix? Is this worth it? The game seems to have broader issues, as it has been out for a while.
