Every time I watch Shorts, this part of the page where it used to show the title and channel is all broken and looks messed up. Here are some screenshots showing what's wrong. Someone tell me why? It still works fine on Firefox. I really don't want to delete my cookies or cache or change site settings because that could mess up notifications, accounts, passwords, etc.

Could you tell me which web browser you had open when things went wrong? And, are you running any kind of block for ads?

Google Chrome, Version 121.0.6167.86 (Official Build) (64-bit) It happens on my laptop and PC - I think the PC is running an older version of Chrome (like version 120). Extensions: https://ibb.co/q7672vx (I just used a random image sharing site for this test)

I have the exact same issue here too, but only on Firefox. Someone mentioned this happens to them when they use Opera. I'm using uBO and Improve Youtube, though. Even with both Short links opened in a new tab (with all add-ons turned off), it still keeps happening. It works fine if you open a private tab.

It's the same thing. When I turn on Firefox's private mode or Chrome's incognito mode, everything works well. But even when I turn off every single extension, things still go wrong. This makes me think it has something to do with cookies. In a browser like Chrome, which uses cookies a lot, it breaks down even without extensions. But in both Incognito and Firefox, where there are no history or cookies, it works fine. I guess I'll clear my YouTube cookies and see if that fixes the problem.

Update: It's fixed now! Here are some steps and pictures on how to fix it: Step 1: Click on "Cookies and site data" (shown in picture) then click "Manage cookies on this device". Step 2: Delete the cookies I marked in the picture. If you want to keep your accounts signed in, make sure not to delete the ones that aren't circled like google.com.

Wow, that worked perfectly! I used Firefox, which made things slightly different. It actually logged me out from Google and YouTube, but nothing to worry about since I can easily come back in. Thanks so much for helping!
