Are your frames dropping when you're connected to the internet?
Hey there, new member! I'm having some issues with my FX505_DV laptop. When I'm offline, I can play high-end games like AC Valhalla smoothly, achieving around 60-70 fps. However, online play—especially for games like Valorant or War Thunder—slows down to as low as 16 fps, even when connected to the internet. I'm looking for some advice to improve my online performance. Thanks!
Initially, avoid playing online games on wifi due to potential interference from nearby networks. Consider testing on ethernet first before wasting time on incorrect troubleshooting steps. It's important not to compare a single-player game that only needs a network connection with one where the game content runs on a server and your machine shows results. You'll need to be more precise about why you suspect the frame rate is dropping. The actual video images aren't transmitted over the network; instead, they're generated locally on your PC using data from the network.
