The laptop dropped from two to three feet inside a bag that had some paper on top of it. There was no broken parts and the computer still works as usual. Could dropping it like this hurt things later down the road? Also, this one has no hard drive but an SSD instead.

It probably won't be a problem. Hard disk drives (SSDs) usually don't break from being bumped around.

The SSD looks good on paper, but some parts like hinges, wires, or the screen might still break when it gets used a lot.
