Are you using an air purifier while you use a computer?
I'm buying a new powerful computer and want to stop letting dust build up. My case needs to sit three inches off the floor against a wall, which used to work fine for my gaming computers I've had here for twelve years. But I know PCs are full of traps, so maybe an air purifier would help? If that's true, where should I put it near my PC? Thanks!
It is already finished. I'm just curious if a fan with filters can add extra dirt blocking.
Well, it's really just simple logic. If something makes fewer hard particles in the room, it helps everything else catch on too. Computers usually collect a lot of dust because they work like active air filters and cleaners. High electrical frequency creates static electricity and breaks down air molecules into ions. These charged things attract opposite charges, while fans push the air around to move them away from your PC.
