I'm attempting to increase the RAM from 16GB to 32GB on my HP 15-dy2073dx. The memory modules fit with Dell Inspiron but don't install properly in the HP, only showing a power LED blink. I'm using the CORSAIR Vengeance SODIMM DDR4 32GB (2x16GB) at 3200MHz CL22-22-22-53.

Show a photo of the RAM you're replacing. Make sure the part number is clear and visible. Identify the kit and place an order for used OEM Samsung or Hynix 16GB 3200C22 modules. Preferably buy directly from a seller so you can test them and see what works and what doesn’t. Note that Corsair is essentially just another OEM brand; their reputation isn’t top-tier, especially for RAM, with occasional issues like XMP profile problems on AM4 in the past.

I've gone beyond the return period, so maybe I'm out of luck—but here are the photos you asked for.

I was checking about the available RAM options. The laptop doesn't seem to come with Corsair RAM by default, though the HWInfo video mentions a part number suggesting a Samsung 8GbE die. It looks like the correct revision would be dual-rank versions like Samsung 16GB sticks. For Corsair, it doesn't fit on your machine—consider contacting support for a return or replacement.
