I'm purchasing a computer and am opting for Windows. I'm selecting a curved screen and matching fans, but the case is currently on sale and I'm concerned about its future price. My main question is whether it's better to buy the ASUS Prime now or wait until the 50 series Super cards are released next year to further reduce the price. I'm thinking about spending around 750 dollars on a 5070ti Super and wondering if the price will drop below 430 dollars later. Or should I wait for the PSU and GPU before deciding if it's worth getting a 5070ti Super? I'm also planning to build this over the next few months as parts become more affordable.

I'm considering the Phanteks Evolv case and searching for compatible items on Newegg. The motherboard is also on sale for 30 dollars, and I expect its price not to drop before next year. I'm curious if any new boards will be released soon and whether they could outperform the X870 Eagle board. I'd prefer one with more black and less grey, though I appreciate its features.

a new model seldom causes the last generation to cut its price. with supplies dwindling, these older cards actually gain value and then rise in price more often than expected.
all these cards are highly sought after, so there’s no need to reduce them. take what you can find, as it’s available. if the price falls by $20 three months later, it’s not a big deal. just do your best when you’re ready to buy.
if you’re aiming for a drop of $100 or more, it’s unlikely to occur.

I wouldn't choose a 5060ti unless you specifically require Nvidia capabilities. The 4-5% gap isn't justified by the additional $80 over a 9600xt, honestly.
PCPartPicker Part List
Video Card:
Asus PRIME GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB Video Card ($429.99 @ Amazon)
PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Video Card ($349.99 @ Newegg)
As mentioned before, you're unlikely to find any significant GPU price reductions. I agree with you about avoiding spending $750 on a graphics card. Lol
If Borderlands 4 suggests future games, I'd likely opt for at least a 7800x3d instead of the 9600x3d.

It's perfectly fine with 6 core parts bud.

I have bought the following items: motherboard, PSU, case, GPU, AIO, NVME. I'm checking for RAM availability and hoping they release black models soon. I'm also keeping an eye on the 9600x3d possibility. I'm considering purchasing it if possible. I'm wondering when this kind of release might occur. I recently found a curved monitor from thermalright that doesn't seem to be available yet. It's mainly for its low noise level, as it's the only curve monitor I could find at around 27db. The price is about 200 dollars.

Do you know whether to use the reverse single fan for the back to boost airflow to the CPU or stick with the standard one for outtake? I believe the curved monitors don’t have a fan, so adding an intake fan might help pressure and slightly improve cooling.

Except when additional games choose to align with Borderlands 4's, 8 essential minimum needs. Avoid constructing a system solely for managing current games, but also consider upcoming projects for the future. This applies unless you exclusively play poorly designed e-sports titles or older releases.

Borderlands 4 functions adequately on six cores. The eight-core configurations mentioned are quite old, around eight years. The 3300X, a four-core model, surpasses the required minimum CPU performance.
