I’m unsure if this forum is the ideal place for my questions about Google’s "My Ad Center" configurations, since it connects both Google and Android. However, given its relevance to both platforms, I thought it was the most suitable spot.
I am currently adjusting my ad preferences within the My Ad Center settings. In the Manage Privacy section, under "Activity used to personalize ads," there are three options—"Web & App Activity," "YouTube History," and "Areas where you've used Google"—all currently marked as "On."
Looking at each of these, they all link to a page titled "My Google Activity" and display three settings: "Web & App Activity," "Location History," and "YouTube History."
Within these listed options, I find a section called "Activity Controls." Here, control options are available for "Web & App Activity," "Location History," "YouTube History," "Personalized Ads," and "Go To Your Google Account."
I believe all these settings and links refer to unified controls for managing Web & App activity, YouTube history, location data, ads, and my Google account. I’m trying to tailor my ad preferences for more relevant results without repeatedly checking the same options or risking missing important adjustments.
I would like to know whether these settings form a single set of controls for their respective functions—Web & App activity, location, YouTube history, personalized ads, and accessing my Google account—so that I can apply them consistently across linked pages without having to revisit each setting individually.
