Dear all
I use Windows 10 S on one of my devices. That limits the available software to what's in the Windows Store.
I need recommendations for apps that can:
- Detect differences between two images
- Compare bits in two files and determine if they match
Thank you

Limiting yourself to Win 10 S ensures compatibility and optimal performance on that specific version.

This is just one of my systems
If I can't locate the correct software, I'll unlock Windows S

I am a bit unsure about your requirements overall.
However, regarding "Compare bits of two files, and tell if they are identical " I think Powershell has a solution via the Get-FileHash cmdlet.
FYI:
https://adamtheautomator.com/get-filehash/
If that "Get" cmdlet does not meet your requirements then, for me at least, more information is needed.

I need to find two distinct applications:
One capable of comparing two images and highlighting pixel discrepancies.
Another that checks whether two files match exactly at the bit level.
I’m familiar with PowerShell, but it can’t be executed within a Windows environment.

Thank you for your feedback
I'm aware of both options
I'll check if they're accessible on Windows S and look for other solutions
