Quick question for the community. I am new here so I hope this is in the correct topic area. I just upgraded my laptop's wifi card from an intel ac9650 to an ax210. Do I also need to install new antennas for the new wifi 6 over 5 standard to increase speeds? Or will the old antennas still work fine at the new speeds?

You're likely right about the 2.4 and 5 GHz radios working well, but 6 GHz might be a challenge. It's possible that a 6E card won't support it, and you may need special antennas for that frequency. You should probably expect either solid 6GHz connectivity or very weak signals.

In fact, the current setup handles all three frequency ranges effectively.
