I’m planning to set up a PC soon and won’t rely on wired internet. I live in Australia, have NBN already, but I’m unsure how to connect it wirelessly—any guidance would be welcome.

Choose a motherboard with built-in wireless capability or opt for a PCIe card, USB adapter, or powerline adapters. There are numerous possibilities available.

based on your usage, i’d suggest avoiding USB WiFi since they often fail under heavy bandwidth demands. from my trials with 3 wifi USB adapters, around 20mbps is sufficient to cause issues (one even stopped working after that), but normal browsing and games should be okay unless you stream 4k frequently.
