Are you looking for help with a Console Killer PC?
I was playing around in PCPARTPICKER, created something, and checked benchmarks and performance tests on the CPU and GPU. When I looked at the price, I wondered if it would be a console killer, similar to what happens with the PS4. I made sure to include a wireless adapter like consoles, a 500GB storage option, and a keyboard—peripherals I already had, including a wireless mouse costing $30 that worked wirelessly. I saw someone playing Witcher 3 at 1080p high with 30 FPS using an 860k and GTX 750 Ti, which made me think maybe you could run Battlefield 4 at 900p high on the PS4. With those specs, it seems possible. The PCPartPicker list is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MDknYJ. Cost breakdown by merchant is available at http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MDknYJ/by_merchant/. My setup includes an AMD Athlon X4 860K quad-core processor ($68.89 at OutletPC), a Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-H motherboard ($36.30 on Amazon), 8GB DDR3-1600 memory ($29.99 on Newegg), a 500GB internal hard drive ($39.99 on Amazon), a GTX 750 Ti video card (2GB, $99.99 on Newegg), an Xion case ($21.98), a 430W power supply ($19.99), a wireless adapter from Asus ($12.99), and a Logitech K120 keyboard ($6.99). Overall it adds up to $337.11.
A console killer is basically a gaming PC that runs modern games smoother than a PS4 and can be played on a TV or from a couch. I’m fed up with how much of this jargon gets thrown around.
Sorry, your setup isn't working well—it breaks everything and offers better value elsewhere.
