We're searching for something in the $500-700 range that would suffice.
The student is a 26-year-old adult who is careless, tends to lose items, and generally doesn't manage her belongings well.
It doesn't make sense to invest in an expensive computer for her.

Purchased a used laptop for $200. Prefer the Lenovo T series, specifically the T440, which should fall within that price range and likely come with Windows 10.
