I don't really get it about you all, but I can't seem to enjoy computer games right now. It feels like nothing new is happening and just the same old stuff keeps coming back. I miss games like Command & Conquer, Stronghold, and Supreme Commander. The original Crysis was great, but the latest Civilization game was a letdown. Total War series looks messy, and I worry you'll hate me for this. The only game I like right now is FIFA. Hope Star Citizen can change that, anyone feeling the same way?

I mostly enjoy games for their visuals rather than playing for fun.

Guess what? None of those games went anywhere. Go play them again! Personally, I'm really enjoying seeing games like Shadow of Mordor, Arkham City, Skyrim, etc. These new decade hasn't been bad for gaming at all! (2010 ->)

These titles—Command and Conquer Zero Hour, Stronghold Crusader, Gangland, and AoE—still get played today. I don’t know why, but Command and Conquer really stands out with its unit caps. It’s cool how some games stick with you.

Im more of an MMO guy, and yes, i feel the same. WoW is "noobish". Diablo 3 is grind. Ubisoft just produces crap. EA tries, but gives us boring games. Star citizen is not out yet. Trion keeps bringing us korean MMOs that are apealing the first 2 weeks. Playing league coz ive got lots of friends and H1Z1 for the same reason. Dying light is fun, but I can't play more than 2 hours straight of that game.

I’ve noticed some significant issues with those titles, especially around AI, but they still offer enjoyment when contrasted with today’s more mechanical experiences. Skyrim stood out as a solid choice for me.

Luckily, I can't connect with you since I don't enjoy playing games for this purpose. I'm more into creative stuff, so when it comes to a game, my focus is on character and setting design, storytelling, and music.

I agree with your perspective. Thank you for your feedback—it means a lot. Right now, there isn't anything particularly special or unique.

I also spent some time playing a sports game, but now it feels like nothing else excites me.
