Are you experiencing stuttering in all your games?
Are you experiencing stuttering in all your games?
Hi All,
I'm really struggling to get this thing working smoothly. I've completely overhauled every part of my PC and rebuilt it multiple times, but the microstuttering still happens—especially at 116 fps. It drops right down when it hits that frame rate.
I can't seem to fix it on my own.
rtx4090
13900kf
maximus hero z790
corsair ddr5 6000
980 pro ssd
please help me out, thanks!
Was die Harddrive/SSD formatiert und wird ein frischer Windows-Installation durchgeführt?
Is it typical to experience a brief stutter now and then? Yes
Thanks for your reply! The monitor is an LG OLED c2 TV. Both drives were formatted before installation and a fresh copy was installed. It's the latest BIOS version for that motherboard, but it had problems on other boards too. I'm using the first and second drives heavily for my SSDs, so sharing with the GPU seems likely. It's a 4090 model, which surprised me since this might cause an issue? The PSU is an ASUS ROG Strix 1000W; I tried a 1200W version but it still had the same problem and returned it. Cheers!

Both drives were formatted prior to installation and a new copy was added.
Was the installation done via USB? Was it using the Windows Media Creation Tool or a backup drive image?
During setup, it's essential to connect only one drive.
Once installed, link the remaining drives.
Hey there,
What’s the shared factor here? Have you changed the GPU or is the 4090 consistent across each rebuild.
If it's covered by warranty, perhaps send it back via RMA.
Is RAM using XMP? Have you run a test with Memtest86+ outside Windows?
Following the BIOS update, did you reset CMOS? If not, this might be the solution.
I've experienced several 4090 models now, and everything is identical. The RAM is XMP1 DDR5 6000. I cleared the CMOS already. I rebuilt the PC from scratch using new components, so I think the issue might be related to games. How often should a game experience microstutter?
