Hi everyone. I’m facing a problem that’s really slowing me down.
I just installed my new PC and everything is functioning properly—Windows works well, I can play Cyberpunk at full settings, and benchmarks are running smoothly.
However, when I try to play Star Citizen, it crashes after about 5 to 10 minutes.
Looking at the debug codes, it starts with “08”, then switches to “00”, goes back to “08”, and then crashes again shortly after.
I’ve read that “00” might indicate a failing CPU and “8F” could be related to power issues. I haven’t found much information on this.
I ran FurMark, 3DMark, Heaven, and Fine benchmarks—scores were 1823 (eco mode) and a score of 26038.
I don’t believe my CPU is dead or failing. I have a 1200 watt PSU but also 13 fans and a DDC liquid cooling pump, so it’s hard to say if the problem lies with the PSU.
Here are my specs:
Board: Aorus x670e Xtreme (latest BIOS)
OS: Windows 11 Pro (fresh install)
CPU: Ryzen 9 7950x3D
GPU: RTX 4080
PSU: BeQuiet Pure Performance Power 12m 1200 watt
Any advice would be really appreciated.

Check if a fresh OS is available. Find the latest motherboard BIOS details. Identify the brand and model of the PSU.

Hello, sorry for missing that in the thread. It's a brand new setup with the latest BIOS, and the PSU is a Quiet Pure Performance Power 12m 1200 watt unit.
