I'm seeing consistent 90+ fps at max settings in the shooting range, but I suspect a limitation is affecting performance. I noticed others achieving over 100 fps on 1080p, so there might be a bottleneck somewhere.

benchmarks won't match perfectly on all systems because of constant changes. Staying close to 10fps suggests your performance might be a bit higher or lower than the standard due to some factors.

It seems many are comparing against the extreme preset rather than full power, or they might be hiding their settings.

Absolutely, I understand—your setup isn't quite up to the level you're aiming for.

There are two distinct viewpoints—go for it! I mostly rewrite my 290x from scratch. What’s your take?

Semantics highlight a usual obstacle. Avoiding it across multiple programs isn't guaranteed. In the tech/gaming world, "bottleneck" often refers to whether your graphics card restricts performance. To address your query directly: Yes, your graphics card is the main constraint in your setup, just as expected.

Also check the performance at 144Hz. In the Jaystocks video, the FPS decreased when he switched from an i7 to an i5.
