Hello, three months ago I assembled a new PC. The components include a Ryzen 9 3900X, AORUS 3070 gaming graphics card, 32GB Corsair VRM, and RGB Pro lighting. The issue is that I’m using the AMD stock cooler. I’ve learned better cooling options exist but don’t want to replace it. My question: Should I purchase a new cooler or can I keep using the one I have?
The stock cooler is working well, avoid overclocking the CPU.

I use it for gaming and video editing. During gaming sessions lasting around two hours, temperatures stay between 90-93°C—though I’m not entirely sure. For video editing, I get around 80-90°C. However, I’ve read elsewhere that I don’t need to upgrade the cooler as long as I don’t overclock. I probably won’t need an upgrade anytime soon.
You don’t need an upgrade. You can get a Hyper 212 for $30 USD if you’re okay with that.
Thank you very much. I feel more confident using my PC now. There are some temperature adjustments needed during gaming, with readings dropping between 80 and 82 to 90. I’ll keep this in mind that upgrading the cooling isn’t too costly, but I don’t want to do it. However, when you mention it’s fine for my CPU, I won’t upgrade.
