Hello everyone, I mostly play Warzone but my CPU keeps staying at full speed and I’m seeing low frames. I’ve tried overclocking, but it’s unstable and crashes no matter what frequency I set (4.4GHZ 1.30v). I’m curious if upgrading to the 9900K would help or if a new motherboard/CPU around £400 would be better. My current setup includes an i5-8600K, MSI Z370, a KRAIT gaming GPU with 2060, 32GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

A refurbished 8700K offers a solid price, but purchasing a brand-new platform is feasible with a 5600x setup plus a fresh MOBO for roughly $90 to $100.
