I tried to launch the latest Call of Duty, but it warned me security wasn’t active. I checked the FAQ and saw my TPM wasn’t current. I updated the BIOS, but it froze for about 35 minutes.

Current status: Unable to do much except wait. It seems the system is in the middle of flashing, and a reboot probably won’t restore it to working condition.

I was anticipating the best possible outcome, but it took about an hour and a half before any updates appeared. It seems I might need to purchase a new motherboard unless there are any recommendations.
