You should connect both the 4+4 and the 4 pin to your CPU. The setup depends on your motherboard design, but typically you need all three pins for proper power delivery. Using just one half won’t work. Make sure you match the pin configuration with your specific CPU model.

Only an 8-pin connector is required for all three CPUs. The 8-pin power connector can handle up to 226 watts, which is more than sufficient for these processors. It provides roughly double the power these CPUs consume. One 8-pin pin is adequate.
