Are you all pumped up for Anthem?
Are you all pumped up for Anthem?
If you are looking for an explanation, consider this:
I've reviewed the gameplay from IGN here. It appears to be a game that initially seems impressive, but it tends to become monotonous after just two weeks.
It appears the visual aspect is appealing, though there isn't much else to highlight.
Following what they've done thus far, I'd hold off until the release and feedback from other players.
By this stage, I'd rely on "Gaming" platforms as my main source of trust.
I really hope the game succeeds since it looks great.
For EA doing the same thing again, I get tired of hearing everyone complain.
I think they learned their lesson with the new Battlefront 2 and the CEO getting killed on social media.
I believe the R6 model will be what happens next, with a strong long-term commitment.
But I don’t say they won’t be a business or that SSDD is a bad idea.
Other forums also seem to agree that the alpha event a while ago was promising.
The gameplay seems quite solid. The setting feels similar to Titanfall 2, which I actually enjoyed a lot for some reason. I'm noticing three characters that can be played. As long as the game offers more character options and a variety of play styles and abilities, I believe it will be a solid title. Still, just like with Destiny, Destiny 2, Titanfall, and Titanfall 2, I won't purchase it until it reaches around $5 to $6. I could go up to $10 to $15 if there aren't too many unnecessary features. Of course, the usual concerns apply—micro-transactions, grinding systems, etc. Just make sure the game feels natural for players and I'm in favor of that.
It seems like the experience wasn't appealing to me for just one reason. The solo story mode didn't meet my expectations, and I find it frustrating to play online with others. Internet access isn't always reliable, sometimes I don't have it for days. That's why I'm not investing in it. Still, I hope the game succeeds.
Well destiny 2 surprised me, I played 40 hours a week, which is quite a lot for a shooter. It reminded me of mass effect 2, but without your crew. Mass effect is the trilogy I loved most from Bioware, and I also did all the dragon ages after baldurs gate… Anyway, what really bothered me was seeing pictures of the test/development team setups with screens and controllers. Maybe I’ll try again if I find a good casual group. If I have the PC to back it up, dragon age inquisition really came to life when I bought my new PC last year… Soo.
Yeah, I’ll buy it… just if I can team up with other adults or maybe get a discount on the SP part.
No, not really. Nothing about any gameplay they've shown looks very interesting, and the only thing I've enjoyed about previous Bioware games was Mirandas glorious back story and the party banter in Dragon Age. Otherwise, the gameplay has always sucked, and the world building is fairly mediocre. They're decent character writers though.
