Most of her USB devices connect through a powered KVM switch, and the peripherals function properly on her work laptop while she uses the switch.

I suggest shifting each device sequentially from the KVM and linking directly to the rear of the PC. I understand this goes against the main goal of a KVM (I personally use several), but we should check if the drivers for connected devices or the KVM itself are unstable.

So I attempted this and it looks like a keyboard-related issue. I haven’t tried the microphone yet, but the keyboard disconnects and other keyboards don’t work either. Also, I’m not sure what’s causing the kernel-power 41 error.
