I can't enjoy new video games much anymore. What little excitement I have faded away. Most current titles feel empty and misleading, making it hard to stay engaged. Games such as CS:GO, Battlefield, Evolve, etc., consistently disappoint with endless DLC and aggressive microtransactions meant to pressure players. My last purchase was BF3 about five years ago—my new setup showed just how disappointing it could be. I'm left feeling let down, spending nothing on games except for cheap scams like mighty no.9 and YOAST. I still try free weekends and demos when possible, but overall I'm worn out. I'm skeptical of what developers and publishers say now. My interest lies in Tarkov and Skyrim remastered, though I worry about how they'll handle them this time. It's not just the big studios; indie creators are equally problematic—overly self-important and poorly executed. Honestly, I'm tired of pretentious content that prioritizes style over substance. The gaming scene seems to have lost its way, and the core audience is disengaged. Are others like me feeling this way? Just indifferent to all the noise and unwilling to invest in new releases.
You seem to be anticipating outcomes in games, but your hopes are causing your enjoyment to fade.
I still enjoy Team Fortress 2 and GTA San Andreas. My latest title I've tried is CS Go. Not really into gaming these days.
CSGO functions as a gambling simulation with a MM mode, featuring irrelevant rankings? It’s unclear what this means for the DLC. The main game remains unchanged.
