Hello! I've been dealing with a lot of mouse problems on my PC.
I've switched several mice throughout the year but haven't fixed the issue.
My sensitivity seems to change by itself and become unpredictable.
Sometimes it works fine, other times it feels completely uncontrollable.
It's been happening on both CS:GO and Valorant.
This is really frustrating and I'm not sure what to do anymore.
I've tried both HyperX Fury S Pro and LG Saturn mousepads, both new and used, but the problem persists.
Here are my PC details:
Mobo : b450 aorus pro
CPU : ryzen 5 5600x
GPU : Rtx 2060
RAM : 2x8gb DDR4 3200mhz
Storage : M2 nvme 500gb
Thanks in advance!

Hiya,
Does this occur only within the game or also on your desktop? You might want to disable the 'Enhance pointer precision option' in your mouse settings. Press Windows + R to open the Run window. Type in: main.cpl, which should bring up a mouse properties window. In the Pointer Options tab, uncheck the box labeled 'Enhance pointer precision'.

I've adjusted the pointer precision settings.
I've thoroughly checked the entire internet for comparable issues but haven't found any fixes.
It seems to be related to Windows/Bios changes, especially after replacing several mice.
FPS games are now extremely difficult to play and I'm almost giving up. T_T

Have you checked if the mouse problems are linked to Valorant's anticheat? I've experienced similar issues with my mice, and turning them on and off seems to resolve the problem.

Could it really be you? I understand it might seem odd, but I’ve observed noticeable changes in my mouse control and precision after skipping meals for over twelve hours and consuming more than two coffees a few hours prior to using the device.

Does the problem disappear when switching from wireless to wired connections? I had a friend dealing with too many wireless devices connecting to his computer, which caused odd problems. After switching to a wired setup or removing some devices, the issues vanished. It might help to test both methods to identify what’s causing the issue. If one works, you can stick with it or check other connected wireless devices to see if removing them fixes it.

It's definitely not just me. There's a very clear difference in how it feels and I can replicate the issue and solve it the same way at any time if I restart my pc and launch valorant.

The only solution I've discovered is keeping the mouse on low battery. When the battery level reaches the red light, it performs better.
This doesn't affect me much at least.
