So, did you verify the memory under its standard JEDEC setup or under its specific XMP configuration? Also, I would strongly advise against using "Memtest86+". It isn't the same tool as Memtest86 from Passmark. Obtain the free Passmark Memtest86 utility, execute it for four passes across the complete memory array with the basic default settings enabled, without XMP active. If it succeeds in this scenario, you can proceed; otherwise, enable XMP and repeat the process.

If it works under both scenarios using Memtest86 (not Memtest86+), you might also try Prime95 in Blend mode while disabling all AVX options. If it manages to run for about half an hour without issues, it's likely not encountering basic problems. You could also use the Windows memory diagnostic, which runs different tests than Memtest86.

My main concern remains the shutdown behavior—this could point to a problem with the Beelink unit or the mainboard itself. You might attempt installing just one memory module in one of the DIMM slots and observe if the shutdown issue changes. Repeat this with the other slot. I did not modify anything within memtest. Are there any XMP settings in memtest? I didn’t notice anything about XMP or JEDEC in the BIOS. I wasn’t aware that memtest86+ and memtest86 are different. I assumed memtest86+ was the more recent version. I’ll try again using memtest86. Does memtest86 actually check memory differently than memtest86+? My question is, since I’m reading this now, the test with memtest86 shows a very similar layout to memtest86+.

In terms of shutdown behavior, if I run the computer without it crashing and then power it down normally, it behaves almost the same as when it crashes—screen goes black and fans continue running. The only difference is I can press the power button to shut it down, unlike during a crash when I can’t.

After completing memtest and testing various memory setups, I plan to disable hibernation if the issue persists.

By the way, if I discover the problem is on the motherboard, can it be replaced with a new one? Would that require reinstalling Windows?
