Are there any game crashes on my PC, maybe connected to memory problems but it's not clear?
There are numerous crashes in many of my games. In Warzone, the errors reported during crashes include:
0xC0000374
0xC0000005
0x8007000E (DirectX is at the latest version, but crashes still occur even with version 11)
System details:
I have Windows 11 installed with all available updates.
All driver updates from Armory crate are applied.
Hardware:
Motherboard: rog maximus z790 apex with BIOS version 1801 (latest).
GPU: either 2070S gigabyte or 4090 Gigabyte.
Nvidia drivers are up to date (version 551.23).
CPU: i9 13900k
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 7200
SSD: 970 Evo 500GB
The suggested problems point to issues with my RAM, whether xmp is enabled or not. I’ve run memtest86 both with and without xmp, and it passes without issues.
I also completed a clean Windows 11 reinstall using a media tool; the SSD was reset.
SSD health tests showed no abnormalities.
I require guidance on what to check next or which tools to use.
I’m struggling to identify a clear pattern in the crashes.
GPU temperatures during gaming stay below 70°C.
CPU temperatures remain under 85°C, averaging around 75°C.
Please assist.
I have now lowered my bios version to 1501 and haven’t experienced any crashes in the past two hours.
I’m completely stunned.
Could you help me understand what’s happening?
