So my RX 580 doesn’t have a DP connection, so I’m using a DVI dual link from the GPU to reach 144Hz. My monitor is a Benq XL2411P.
My concern is whether using DVI will cause any issues, and I’m worried it might not work properly. My resolution is 1920x1080... Thanks!!!

It might be that your HDMI cable is only version 1.4, which restricts its performance and causes issues with many low-cost cables as well. My son’s 1070ti with dual-DVI works fine at 144Hz without any problems or blur. Regarding motion blur in games, I usually turn it off in the game settings since I don’t like it. For audio, just connect your motherboard output to speakers or headphones, or use a USB headphone/speaker if you have one.

dvi dual link works well for 1080/144, hdmi offers audio only and is limited to 120hz – thus dual-link seems the optimal choice for 144hz with supported audio outputs.

How do I confirm if my audio will function properly? My HDMI only supports 90Hz, is that typical? And I read someone mention a monitor issue where 144Hz causes blurriness—will I experience the same?

It might be that your HDMI cable is only version 1.4, which restricts its performance and many affordable cables have experienced similar issues. My son’s 1070ti with dual-DVI works fine at 144Hz without any problems or blur. Regarding motion blur in games, I usually turn it off in the game settings—it’s not something I enjoy. For audio, connect directly to your motherboard’s audio output to speakers or headphones, or use a USB headphone/speaker if available; some devices also support digital or optical inputs depending on your motherboard’s capabilities. Could you clarify what you’re connecting for sound? That would help suggest the best setup.
