I wonder if there are other times of the year when sales happen similar to summer sales? Most people focus only on summer promotions, but there might be other periods with discounts too. Thanks for asking!

I don't think so. They're adding extra costs for the games except on certain days each year. The cheapest price you should pay is the highest historical amount.

This year it appears there are fewer major discounts. Last year there was a spring sale, this year none, which makes me think an autumn sale won’t happen either. I believe the next big deal will be a winter or Christmas promotion. There might be sales from Ubisoft, Activision, or even Square Enix soon. Who knows what will come?

In Steam, discounts are always available. There are Week-long sales that support smaller games, new drops, free weekends, and special events. Plus the major happenings discussed earlier.
