Hi! So i have had this Razer Blackwidow Elite keyboard since 2020, and pretty much no problems since. But today when i woke up and boot up the pc it showed 2 behaviours. First it would spam "km25" until the key "ESC" was pressed. After that, the keyboard would work as usual (even tested on a keyboard tester) except for the keys "I" and "8". Opened it to check for moisture or some internal damage but nothing was found as you can see on the photos attached...
I know that Razer is not known for their reliability but this one has held up pretty well and wasn't showing any signs of giving up anytime soon.
Any idea what it could be?
The LEDs work fine btw
If this really is a RIP, what keyboards do you recommend? I'm looking for a Mechanical KB with Media Keys and Numpad, not much preference in brands.

I used a razer kb for a similar length of time; either the E or W key stopped working and it was tough to type without those keys. You might want to try a clean boot to check if it improves things—follow the instructions carefully and avoid disabling any Microsoft services, as Windows won’t load properly.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, it could point to a startup program. Try restarting the stopped programs repeatedly to identify the culprit.
It’s also worth testing on other PCs if possible.
Are you interested in a gaming keyboard? Do you prefer wired or wireless options? Are you looking for normal or low-profile keys? Are you worried about the switches?
I spent several weeks searching and finally found a NuPhy Halo96 last year. I had to skip Razer because of Synapse; I was mainly after wireless models.
