Hey there.
I've been exploring ways to boost my new PC, covering both the CPU and GPU. I downloaded several tools to assist with overclocking, including MSI Afterburner GPU-Z, 3D Mark, CPU-Z, and AIDA64. Running CPU-Z, it displayed the current readings. IDIA64 also provided similar info.

I’m wondering if my processor is currently running at 4.3GHz on base speed, or if the boost clock might be a bit higher than expected (possibly around 4.4GHz). It’s possible I have 4.3GHz on base and 4.4GHz in boost.

I’ve also heard some users who used Devils Canyons found their voltages were slightly higher than the stock settings, or that it could be related to the motherboard or BIOS—maybe an update is needed.

Just wanted to double-check these numbers with more experienced folks before diving into the modifications.
Thanks, everyone!

Base frequency of the i7 4790k is 4Ghz and boost clock stands at 4.4Ghz.
For stock speeds, voltage requirements aren't a major concern.
