I believed the absence of BitLocker was the cause for older CPU support being missing.
TPM was a long-standing focus of MS.

The conclusion of GPU support means your card will no longer receive driver updates or improvements. It will continue to function, but you could miss out on performance enhancements and compatibility with upcoming games or Windows updates. For Windows 10, ending support implies no more security patches, making an upgrade to Windows 11 or a newer version a wise choice for better protection and stability.
Finishes the transition from my most established setup. A 11-year-old reliable Windows 7-10 system, destined for being lost and neglected. Z97 MB, 4790k and an 8-year-old GTX1080ti. Lost... Yet the machine will still function. Ubutu Linux is currently in a NVMe M.2 slot that hasn't seen much use. I've experimented with various distros for over three decades. Hahahaha. Although I own more recent hardware, the old one remains cherished.
